Fer de France norning debates

COP21During COP21, Fer de France’s aim is to obtain recognition for and raise the profile of the contribution made by transport to meeting energy transition challenges and the fight against climate change. We are convinced that transport has a role to play in reducing greenhouse gases emissions. We believe that priority must be given to a modal shift towards clean modes of transport, particularly rail, in respect to its carbon footprint, emissions per passenger, its footprint and its role in reducing the congestion of flows and spaces.

To provide a platform for our opinions, Fer de France will organise five short morning debates at the COP21 lasting 45 minutes, during which an international opinion leader will debate with one or two chairpersons from the rail sector.
